PROFILE
GSQUARED Architects was founded by the architects Angelika Gerasimopoulou and Christina Georgiadi. Their architectural office is located in the center of Athens and they are active throughout Greece. They closely cooperate with engineers, such as surveyors, civil and mechanical engineers and undertake the design of all stages, supervision and construction in collaboration with experienced technical crews and foremen.
They have many years of experience in projects of a wide range of building uses, of all scales and budgets, while undertaking the settlement and legalization of illegal buildings and structures, technical expertise investigations and reports, as well as building legality checks, issuing the relevant certificates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

THE TEAM
Angelika Gerasimopoulou was born in Athens, Greece. She studied Architecture at Birmingham City University in the United Kingdom.
She completed her studies in 2005, and was nominated for an award by the Technical Chamber of Greece for her Diploma Thesis on: “Ephemeral Architecture: Traveling Theater».
Since 2005 she has been working as a freelancer and has collaborated with architectural offices in Athens and abroad, undertaking the architectural design of public and private projects, including National Health System Hospital buildings, Supermarket stores of the largest chain stores worldwide, and Bank branches. She also has extensive experience in the design and construction of Commercial buildings and spaces, Residences, Renovations and Restorations of Listed buildings. In addition, by developing her professional qualifications and aiming to enrich her knowledge, she received in 2011 a Master Certificate in Project Management approved by the Project Management Institute of Athens.
She met Christina Georgiadi in 2005. In 2018 they co-founded the architectural practice GSQUARED Architects.
She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, Certified Energy Inspector, Building Inspector and Judicial Expert of the First Instance Athens Court.
Christina Georgiadi was born in Athens, Greece. She studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens.
Since 2004 she has been working as a freelance architect and has collaborated with a variety of architectural offices undertaking designs and supervision.
Projects in which she participated have won awards and distinctions from DOMES and the Biennale and have been published in magazines in Greece and abroad.
She has many years of experience in the construction, design and study of homes, business premises, renovations, restorations of listed buildings and exterior spaces, and has been distinguished for her participation in architectural competitions. In addition, she has experience in construction design for large-scale public projects, such as the General Hospital of Kavala, the General Hospital of Zakynthos and the National Gallery of Greece.
She met Angelika Gerasimopoulou in 2005. In 2018 they co-founded the architectural office GSQUARED Architects.
She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and has participated in the organization of conferences of World Cultural Cities.
